Dirty exhaust air Not In My Back Yard

Who wants to wake up to know that there are restaurants, residential buildings, or mechanical workshops will be built across the street? Would the community’s reaction change if the prospective projects changed to hazardous waste facility, incinerators, garbage dumps, or infectious disease hospital? A common reaction would be “Not In My Back Yard”, or NIMBY.

Dr. Iyad Al-Attar discusses why air filtration considerations should be included in the decision-making process.
