REVEN GmbH has been successfully certified by the certification company DEKRA this week according to the new standard ISO 9001:2015.
The quality management system of the new standard ISO 9001:2015 contains a number of innovations compared to the old ISO 9001:2008 standard. One improvement is that more emphasis is placed on process-oriented approaches and the demand for comprehensive and systematic process management. In addition, knowledge management plays a stronger role than before in order to document the knowledge required for processes and to make it accessible to all employees. The conversion to the new standard ISO 9001:2015 was prepared and implemented by REVEN quality management commissioner Klaus Mann and the external partner & consultant Mr. Biemüller from Hopp & Flaig at an early stage. To this end, they developed a completely new, web- and server-based quality management system with an innovative database-driven approach. The new system enables a clear presentation of all aspects of the REVEN processes as well as their links.
Among other things, DEKRA’s auditor rated the cleanliness and tidiness in the REVEN production area as exemplary for the metal industry, see above figure which shows one of four production halls of REVEN GmbH in Sersheim, 20 kilometres north of Stuttgart.
