Andreas Pfeiffer succeeded Addi Schuller on January 1st, 2020 and is now the official Account Manager for commercial kitchen ventilation systems throughout Baden-Württemberg. In order that all our interested parties and customers can have a very open exchange with Andreas from the very beginning, Andreas introduces himself in a very interesting and personal interview in our “Inside REVEN Blog”:
Andreas, if you may meet a famous personality – whether alive or dead: Who would it be and why?
I would like to meet Thomas Edison, because his quotations make me think and I have the impression that they are mostly true. My favourite quotation from him, which I also take to heart, is “Success is a law of the series and failures are intermediate results. If you keep going, you can’t prevent success.”
Which three things in your life are you most thankful for?
For my friends, my relatives and the good food that is served.
If you could change one thing in the world: What would that be?
That war would come to an end everywhere, that everyone would live together in harmony and help each other so that there would be no more hunger in the world.
What was the best decision in your professional career?
That I pursued further training to become a technician.
If you were a food, what would it be?
What question haven’t you had an answer to lately and have you been able to find it?
When will we have a real winter again with at least half a meter of snow? Finding an answer to this is difficult.
How often do you look at your mobile phone every day?
Actually, all the time except when I’m driving or when I sleep. Sometimes I wish I could just leave it alone.
What profession did your parents have in mind for you?
Actually, they hadn’t imagined anything at all, because they thought that I had to be happy with it. For this reason, I did several internships to find the right profession for me.
What will be your next project?
To buy a small smith’s hearth to forge knives or other small parts.
What was the nicest compliment anyone ever gave you?
That if I started something, I would do it with accuracy and precision.
What could you possibly do without in your life?
Nothing. Because I need all that I have to live. I wouldn’t want to do without anything of what I have.
And what could you not do without in your life?
Without my friends and my family, after all they are the most important thing in life.
What used to be your favourite subject?
If your life was filmed: Which actor (or actress) would play you?
If you could choose a country: Which one would you like to live in?
I would like to live in Sweden in the middle of the forest, but I would rather work here in Baden-Württemberg.
What would you get up for in the middle of the night?
For a delicious escalope. 🙂
Which decision in your life would you want to undo afterwards?
None at all, everything has gone so far as I imagined.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
That one can discover the world and is constantly facing new challenges.
If you had three wishes free: What would they be?
Right now, I’m perfectly happy. I would save them for when I needed them.
What should never be missing in your holiday suitcase?
The charger for the mobile phone and the tablet, but I always forget to pack it.
What are your hobbies and do you have a nice snapshot of one of your hobbies?
I don’t have that many hobbies, because what I enjoy most is what takes up most of my time, namely the voluntary fire brigade. My second hobby is archery.
Finally, one more question: What is your favorite song, if you also take into account the message of the song?
My favourite song is “Kein Krieg” by PUR.
